Homeschool Enrichment Offerings

We welcome homeschoolers to participate in enrichment half or full days at Sonoma Earth School. Our setting is mixed-age, outdoor and nature-based. Our routines do shift through the seasons, but always include a large portion of time outdoors, regardless of weather.

Our mornings begin with connecting to nature, connecting with friends and tending the land. Mid morning, students will be invited to bring their own academic materials and receive support in developing their skills and completing any assignments from their primary homeschool curriculum. Afternoons include time to eat lunch, play with friends, read, and then delve into a “guild” that focuses on arts, crafts, or land skills.

Examples of Guilds:

  • Visual Arts: Painting and Drawing

  • Ballet Folklórico

  • Fiber Arts: Knitting and Sewing
